It's been a terrible year past in so many ways. How do you avoid toxic people? You know the toxic ones, they're not just a PITA with the occassional vent, but the dark hole of despair who suck life, love and productivity out of your busy day. Even worse, and my real question, how do you deal with a previously OK employee who has developed toxicity over the last year; who has been overloaded with work (in comparison with the past, I know it could be done better) and I know feel I'm not getting my $$ worth and may have to cut this toxic person's pay? Detox is tough when someone never seems to have luck land on there side.
