Stever’s presentation at TiECon’04 was one of the best attended sessions of the entire conference. He has a remarkable ability to engage and inspire the audience with his delivery and content, and the audience left with a strong understanding of how to be active leaders both in their workplaces and communities.

Listen
Ask for time to think about it
Write the benefits
Do you agree with the change? If not, what’s argument
If you do agree, get on it
Great suggestions. Overcoming knee-jerk reaction is difficult and takes practice – so I love the suggestion to listen and then ask for time to think before responding.
Thanks.
